Gena Schultheis, DDS

Dr. Gena Schultheis is a holistic general, cosmetic, and implant dentist committed to minimally invasive, biocompatible care. A former U.S. Air Force captain, she brings advanced training across implant, cosmetic, laser, and orthodontic dentistry, and serves as a board member of the Holistic Dental Association.

Beyond the Office

Dr. Schultheis volunteers at the local health department and through the Free Day of Dentistry program. She participates in Earth Day events and the Chesapeake Beach Oyster Cultivation Society, and provides training to the medical community on the oral-systemic health connection. Outside the office, she enjoys yoga, hiking, skiing with her family, music, and cooking.

Adam Taxin, DDS

General Dentist, Advanced Training in Dental Sleep Medicine

Dr. Adam Taxin is a dedicated general dentist focused on patient education and family-like care. A Virginia Commonwealth University dental graduate, he completed his general practice residency at the Baltimore VA Hospital and is actively working toward board certification in dental sleep medicine through the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Beyond the Office

Dr. Taxin loves spending time with his wife and son, traveling, cooking, and scuba diving. He's a passionate sports fan — especially the New York Jets — and is always happy to help with a fantasy football question.

Dr. Kevin Ross

General, Microsurgical & Implant Dentist

Dr. Kevin Ross is a biological, microsurgical, and implant dentist with a deep commitment to oral-systemic health and minimally invasive care. A University of Maryland dental graduate, he completed advanced surgical training in implants and endodontics and holds certifications in microsurgical and implant dentistry.

Beyond the Office

Dr. Ross volunteers with Maryland's Mission of Mercy, Smiles for Life, and Give Veterans a Smile Day. Outside the office, he's an avid hiker, golfer, and landscape photographer on a mission to photograph every U.S. National Park, Glacier National Park being his favorite so far.

Dr. Hanan Naser

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Hanan Naser is a board-eligible pediatric dentist known for her gentle, calm approach to children's dental care. A VCU dental graduate, she completed both a General Practice Residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn and a Pediatric Dentistry Residency at VCU, with advanced training in behavior management, preventive care, and comprehensive pediatric treatment.

Dr. Joy Chen

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Seeing patients at: Dunkirk

Dr. Joy Chen is a dual-degree, board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a DMD from the University of British Columbia and an MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her residency at Columbia University Medical Center / New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident, and trained across the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. She practices wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, facial trauma, TMJ disorders, and outpatient sedation — using virtual surgical planning and guided implant surgery for precise, predictable outcomes. Known for her empathetic, patient-first approach, Dr. Chen takes the time to thoroughly explain every procedure and ensure patients feel informed and at ease.

Dr. Chen has a special interest in global surgery and has participated in mission trips to Colombia, treating children with craniofacial abnormalities.

Tiffany Turner

Holistic General, Cosmetic & Implant Dentist

Dr. Turner is a general dentist who practices both restorative and aesthetic dentistry. She believes patient comfort and patient education are essential to providing quality dental care. 

Dr. Turner completed her bachelor’s degree with a B.S. in Biochemistry from University of Virginia and was awarded an Intramural Fellowship award at the National Institute of Health where she was published in bone and cancer studies. She then earned her doctoral degree with magna cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency with Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In her spare time, Dr. Turner enjoys painting, drawing, ceramics, and playing the piano. Dentistry has allowed Dr. Turner to combine working with her hands and practicing health sciences in her career. Dr. Turner was born and raised in Maryland and currently resides in Davidsonville, Maryland with her husband.
